It hadn't been long before the spark of humor Yukihina had felt died, replaced by the familiar sense of emptiness that perpetually filled the void that was her heart. Just like that, she was back to being the indifferent, my-pace girl she was, and as she quickly ducked under the stone archway, she made her way past Koyu—who really was just even more like a puppy now, waiting for them to catch up in all his excitement—without a second glance, pausing only to survey her surroundings.
There wasn't much for her to take note of, and even if there was, she found she didn't particularly care for it. Even the snow outside had been much more interesting, if only because she had discovered it was fake. Disregarding the other two and completely ignoring the apparent veteran's advice to stick close, she shuffled away from the man and closer to the symbols etched into the walls, absently tracing her fingers over them. It was a strangely comforting gesture, and vaguely, she wondered what they'd look like if they glowed.
Then she glanced back at the two males. If they were a party now, she knew better than to wander off on her own, as much as her feet tugged at her to explore to her heart's content. Weren't parties supposed to come to decisions together? As far as she was concerned, she hadn't acknowledged anyone to play leader. If the Crusader wanted to take lead, then it wasn't like she was going to stop him—she didn't have the power to do that, even if she wanted to—but she wouldn't have minded drifting away and going on her own. She would follow Vance, for now. At least until something out of the ordinary caught her fancy.
((I'm sorry.))
