Mouse knew the effects of Freeze would linger for Gorre a bit longer whether the status itself was cured or not, which was why she was grateful that the Fire Sprite complied when she requested her company. With a sigh of relief, she huddled a little closer to Gorre to try and help him warm up even faster. Ignoring her reddening cheeks, she listened to how he felt about his interaction with this Shadow person. It was nice to hear his continued take, her bias threatened to leave a bitter taste in her mouth for this man she hadn't met- But, perhaps his perspective could be changed. Or, at least an attempt could be made. Should she ever cross him herself, she would need to keep in mind while his current goals were distasteful, they were also as unsure as he was.
Before either of them could move forward with the conversation, the matter before them had to be addressed. The ravens had looked first towards Mouse but then craned their necks to look at Gorre, their beaks clacking more as they ruffled their moss feathers a bit. They hopped back and forth on their single, wooden legs and continued to watch the duo. Occasionally, they would try and peek around the two towards the delicious looking sprites behind them- Though would cower away each time they looked back into Gorre's eyes and remembered his tone.
Leaning away from Gorre to give him some of his space back, Mouse pointed her staff towards the birds, who quickly switched their gazes towards the weapon. The flame at the end of her staff suddenly grew bigger and brighter! This caused them to look panicked between Gorre's powerful stare and the flame itself before ultimately taking back to the trees above and through the canopy to the open sky. The silence was only brief before the general sounds of the forest filtered back in. Sighing, she lowered her staff and looked over her shoulder towards the sprites who were settling down. "It's alright little sprites, they went back home. And soon so will you," she promised, with a sweet smile before looking back up at Gorre with admiration.
"Good thinking, love. Hopefully we can continue in peace," She spoke the last bit a bit louder, removing her gaze from him to briefly look suspiciously around the forest before blowing raspberries at nothing in particular. The Earth and Ice Sprite copied this action, also blowing raspberries into the forest. Grinning, she looked back up at him again. A nice mood pallet cleanser before returning back to a sour, but necessary subject. "Oh, right-" Huddling back in towards him again, definitely only because he might still be cold from the freeze, she retraced her thoughts back to the Moon Cave. "I only know what Ornery told me, but they encountered Sid within the caverns at some point. He attacked Wren and Ornery, I can't speak for Wren but Ornery said that he was actually able to feel that pain in our world.."
Whenever Gorre was ready to continue forward, she would move closely with him. Though, she was in no hurry. "Sid requested that Ornery bring him somewhere or else he would kill Wren, so of course Ornery complied. Now Sid is.. Inside of..? Ornery. For lack of a better wording for it. I'm sure you noticed that strange permanent Berserk ailment he has lately- Well, Sid is why. It seems Sid can also communicate with him while they are bound like this. I don't know, Gorre." Mouse sighed.
"Ornery is a very strong person and he seems to be handling it well. Noblesse too, I just.. Don't like it. I don't trust Sid. Especially after knowing he had some sort of tie with this Shadow person and may be the potential cause for his state of mind. I don't know where he wants Ornery to bring him, but I just hope that when that takes place- Sid leaves him unharmed." Her stress and concern were rapidly resurfacing the more she spoke about the situation, so she held her breath quietly while listening for his thoughts. There was no doubt the Ice Sprite would be sneezing again, and she needed to ensure her Anger Gauge stay manageable. There was an ounce of regret for not simply killing the birds from earlier to start the gauge anew, but it wasn't something to worry over now.
