//LEVELING SYSTEM
Leveling in [The World] is pretty standard. You defeat enemies and/or clear quests, gain experience points until you reach a certain threshold, and then level up. The primary purpose of leveling in our site is to unlock new skills, gain access to higher-difficulty quests, and gain higher level equipment while looting (gear scales to your level).
Other than that, we don't want levels to be a limiting factor for your rps, but a device/tool to use to your advantage to embellish or add flavor to your posts. That being said, there are no areas in [The World] that is set to a specific level range. Everyone can travel anywhere without fear of being under-leveled (you can be under-geared though).
// How fields & Dungeons scale to the player's level
For those who are familiar with it, we're using the same leveling system as Diablo 4. For those who aren't familiar, here's an explanation of how enemy difficulty scales:
The determining factors on whether you are unprepared to face an enemy are essentially your gear, skill repertoire, and how well you use your skills.
Exceptions to the rule of equal level scaling:
1. Quests and Urgent Quests will have predetermined difficulty levels. They give out experience and rewards that is best suited to that level.
