In The World, Vance takes the form of a young man with light bronze skin and a slender build, his muscles barely toned. His straight, ash-colored hair extends down to the nape of his neck, and his bangs messily fall just above his carmine-colored eyes.
All of his clothes are simple in design and are slightly tattered to emulate age and frequent use. He wears black trousers; brown leather knee-high boots; and a loose, crimson, long-sleeved shirt. Under the shirt, however, is a sleeveless, silver-colored scale mail forged of a weak, but light metal that provides minimal protection without hindering Vance's movement to a massive degree. It is slightly longer than the shirt that covers it, and thus barely peeks past it from underneath. Vance also has a black overcoat that falls past his knees.
