As everything is happening, Mouse takes a moment to glance at Sigmendus' stats. "Matcha," she whispers softly, her eyes on the rampaging bear charging her way. "Help our new friend, he needs you more than I, I won't ask you to do another thing today. I swear it." Matcha bubbles in protest, but ultimately nods her little head. Mouse takes the little spirit and tosses her into the air. Using her lily pad almost as a parachute, Matcha will land on Sigmendus' shoulder, if he allows it. If not, she will land nearby.

As the mighty walrus took the hit and fired back with a powerful attack of his own, Matcha takes the opportunity of their impact to summon boiling hot water from the clay bottle she carries. It skillfully moves through the air, dousing both of Sigmendus' enemies and immediately bringing up a Burned status for both foes. She yawns afterwards, flopping around, as if that was more effort than her little body could muster. Even though, it is literally her job.

Both deer crumple to the ground briefly, feeling the effects of their own slow recovery after charging and Sigmendus' attack. To add insult to injury, they both utter a similar sound from earlier as they are doused with burning water from the little sprite that had joined the fold. One of the deer seems to be taking a longer time to recover, while the other attempts to do what it must to survive. The free vine growing from its neck whips forth in an attempt to swipe Sigmendus with a Poison Slash attack. It has a 50% chance of inflicting Poison if hit. Both deer are severely damaged.

Meanwhile, Mouse's eyes are wide as the bear emerges from the river with a massive roar, his paw raising high in the air. She quickly withdraws into herself and dodges out of the way as he slams it right into the ground where she was standing. Tendrils of thorny vines reaching out to poison what was no longer there. The bear's empty gaze turns to her, his body lumbering back up again. Crap.. crap..! This thing is huge!! Mouse steadies herself on her feet, backing up when he takes another swipe with his free paw, the vine paw was still stuck in the earth.

She laughs softly at Sigmendus' question, always a sucker for silly jokes and puns. "I-I've got this.. For sure!" It was unclear who she was trying to convince, herself or him. Either way, she takes the opportunity of the bear's two missed strikes to activate a personal skill she'd taught herself. As she lunges forward, striking her blade against the bear's thick hide, she tilts it in such a way that when she pulls it back, the wound it leaves is deep. As her Hellrend skill activates, the bear is inflicted with Rend. Shortly after, her blade gains a ghastly red glow. As the bear loses HP from the wound, it almost seems like the glow is a tad brighter. Mouse takes advantage of the minor speed and attack boost, putting some space between herself and the bear- even if it's not much.

The bear almost seems to ripple with rage as it feels the burning blade rip into his flesh, causing a wound that will not close. He can feel his life force being drained, and once his vine paw is dislodged from the ground, he immediately closes the distance between him and the small woman- easily faster than she is. His maw opens as he goes for a Bite attack. Upon a hit, he will regain some of his HP, though he's still barely hanging on as is.
