All was well and fine as her mind asked different questions about what one could have possibly one to escape the fate bestowed upon this Goddess before her, however, before she could process anymore, the door to the cathedral opened. That would be no problem considering the echo was enormous and this was a free realm to walk about. All would have been considered normal, except Tear had been warned once by her friend Mouse, regarding what she was searching for and that people might come looking for her as it was dangerous.
Without telling her anything, Mouse was giving her a clear warning, and Tear kept it duly noted and at the forefront of all she encountered, hence why the new presence in the cathedral not announcing themselves, meant something different to her. Now she had options to weigh out, turn around and face them, or have her weapon at the ready and it never hurt to be safe than sorry. who would willingly come to a cathedral to start a fight, however, you never knew what one's true motives were unless explained clearly or with enough evidence, however, Tear made the decision for whoever entered. She chose violence.
While still praying in the light, Tear would allow her wings to expand to their full length, her head rising to look up to the statue as her left arm stretched out fully to the side. Her weapon, Gungnir, appeared in her hand in a flash of light blue light before Tear turned back to the entrance.
"Who would dare disturb what little peace is left here?" she'd ask boldly, her bell voice ringing out as she now stood facing the benches of the church.
One who was silently skulking about meant harm as far as she was concerned. Generally, when someone wanted to be spotted they would speak out or at least stand at a distance and attract your attention, however, that was not the case, and so her assumption wasn't far off as far as she was concerned. Glancing around the room briefly, her eyes made eye contact with the perpetrator in question. A light brown-haired individual was indeed watching her down the aisle.
Upon seeing her, the spear would lean forward, pointed in her direction. This person could be alone or with others. Mouse, Fai, Wren, and others she could name had warned her that she would be sought after which while part of her goals, was also something she would need to be prepared for. Tear just didn't expect it to be so soon. This must have been what they were referring to, especially, if they waited for her to enter a church alone, in a non-combat-related dungeon. It was a logical conclusion.
