Moon Cave, fade in and out of the screen after moving into this part of the dungeon. It is the first subarea.
The Oni are numerous and multicolored inside the belly of the cave. They form a loose crowd in what seems to be an antechamber; a platform floats idly upon a pool of water, hung in the center by thick chains. The Oni talk among themselves with enthusiasm and pay no heed to new arrivals, engrossed as they are in the banquet that is to come.
Further along the interior of the Moon Cave, several chambers have been dug into the stone walls. To the left of the floating platform lies a doorway with the sign of “Kitchen” above it. To the right is a passageway with a small wooden sign that reads: “Calcified Caverns”. And across from the platform, on the other side of the Moon Cave, is a tall tunnel with a downwards bend. and a thick, steel door with yet another sign: “Spectral Dungeon".
The platform in the center of the cave functions as an elevator, enabling access to "Orochi's Chamber" at the peak of Moon Cave.
