Unlike, most people, Tear wasn't afraid of the unknown. It was quite the opposite, really and honestly, maybe dangerously so at times. Despite this, her intention was never to ruin or put someone else in a rough position. It was only to gain a deeper understanding on her part. Tear was always able to see the different views and opinions of others without taking a biased viewpoint. That didn't mean she agreed with everyone and everything, as she would clearly state her feelings based on her morals. However, facts were the truth, and how one felt could never truly distort that.
As such, it was only fitting to approach the giant of a man before her. His momentary pause would have given her reason to assume she may have been off-putting in her approach, although he quickly rectified that change of thought. It wasn't fear. It was more of a cautionary gaze. As he started to ask a question, Tear tilted her head slightly, as she was practically a treasure trove of information, to the right person, of course. His words were new to her, but at the same time, she wondered if they had another meaning. [The World] was ironically comingled with several different things, and knowing its history, there were paradoxes she had not yet seen herself, even understanding the few she was currently presented with.
It's also quite possible this was simply the individual's character, and Tear would also assent to that. As such, she would simply go along in the same fashion without jumping to conclusions, as that never helped anyone or anything. Tear would reward him with a genuine smile gracing her features for his compliment and stylish cool demeanor as her right hand met the gentleman before her.
"I assure you, I'm not an easy mark, but I appreciate your concern." the bell voice would pause as her movement began. Simultaneously take a step back with her left leg. Her right hand would rest upon her chest, her head dipping lightly as she spoke.
"I am Tear, the Aegis and a keeper of eld, if you will." That wouldn't necessarily be a lie. She held most of the information people had forgotten and preserved it accordingly.
"Is there a group after you with that name? You should be safe in the root town at the very least." she'd say, her mind lingering on the name. She would ask just in case, as it may have been something she had yet to hear of if it wasn't just a mission of his own. The Long Arm knew of that all too well. There was always something to learn from another player, new or not. None of that truly mattered, to begin with. Opening her user interface, Tear would send her member address to the man before her. It seemed meeting him was a stroke of luck, and at the same time, it was another adventure.
" While I can handle myself, if there is any information you may require or anything I may help you with, feel free to call upon me." she'd say, pressing the send button. There could be a chance for her to assist and vice versa in the future, so adding him as a friend now would be helpful in case he was attacked. Tear had been attacked by PKers when she first started the game.
