"I think my appetite will survive," Nao told Yemon, though only when he stepped into the living room. He really couldn't be bothered to shout.
He'd chosen to take the huge armchair they'd picked out and bought together a while back. While it was supposed to be for only one person, neither of them was particularly big boned, and the thing was large enough to hold them when they felt like being disgustingly affectionate. Or just cuddling while watching a movie. Or both.
Once, he'd tried to work while sitting on it, but his fiance hadn't been too impressed by that. Thus, he hadn't done it again.
At any rate, Nao repositioned himself upon Yemon's arrival so that they could both sit somewhat comfortably, wedged against one another though they are, without spilling anything. "I'll make sure to remember that. Well, about what happened..."
Poking once more at his omelette, he offered his fork to Yemon, since he'd wanted to be the one doing the feeding. In a way, maybe eating by himself would've been more convenient, just in case he somehow managed to lose his appetite. Though judging by how good the food still smelled, he felt like most of his anxiety had passed by, perhaps successfully shocked away by the sight of the rhinestones.
"The meeting was standard, until I mentioned that Hidden Forbidden Bulwark went down. My boss got really confused over this - apparently the email sent by CC Corp, well, wasn't?" He half-shrugged awkwardly. "Anyway, my coworkers and I got sent to investigate it. It was still a huge mess... I think I still have the screenshots I was taking from there. But then---"
A severe frown marred Nao's face as he went on to tell his fiance exactly what had happened. How it had turned out to be a trap, and what Xiang had said and done. As much as he would've loved to spare Yemon's heart, Nao decided to be honest and mentioned his own brief black out, as well. Had Yemon had to find out about it by himself, he would've gotten pissed off, no doubt... and him somehow being completely fine would've sounded strange.
All of this was only broken up whenever Yemon shoved more food into his mouth, which somewhat broke the somber mood... though that wasn't a bad thing, in this case.
"... And then I logged off, got questioned by the security, and listened to my boss freak out over his son before the paramedics managed to bring them away. Someone asked if I wanted myself checked, too, but I... I'm pretty sure I'm fine? Either way, I said no, excused myself, left and basically ran for the train once I was a respectful distance away. I sent that first message before I left, if you're curious."
