I
t was a bit pitiable, this martial artist flailing at nothing without the ability to channel his power as a true Tribal Grappler. Perhaps this could count as disabling his opponent, thus cleaning up his end of the work? Maybe he'd lose the will to fight? Though it was quickly becoming apparent that he was no longer blinded given that the wolf's gaze was falling directly upon Gorre, genuine anger still pervaded his lupine eyes.
The fight wasn't over yet.
Before the thought of attacking the NPC came to mind, the AI's expression darkened as he heard Mouse's voice shout out. Turning to the crackling of lightning, he weighed his options. Her enemy looked badly wounded, and so did his. Well, it would be worth a shot, taking down two birds with one stone. He'd follow Ornery's example.
Uncharacteristic of a Twin Blade, Gorre dashed around his quarry so that the lupine was between himself and the other, and brought a foot forward to kick him into the one whose fur had begun poking outward like a cactus. Then, finding its purchase on the ground, it pushed him forward to chase, while his arms brought his blades in front of his narrowed posture. Their chromatic light streaked in the form of four separate lines drawn across both Lupines, and solidified in front of Mouse along with the rest of his body with a small smile.
[Chaotic Strike].
While Mouse's opponent crumbled onto the floor with a groan, the other, nursing a wound, struggled to stay on his feet. There was barely any fight left in him, so close to joining his comrade in unconsciousness. But, what remained of it was a swift upwards roundhouse directed for the side of Gorre's head.
Meanwhile, Ornery had gone missing for the Lupine that was focused on him, his presence unable to be perceived, especially for the Ursine who was still attempting to put down Noblesse. All that seemingly remained of his being there was his voice, loud and just as sharp as his blades to the pair. At the moment his feet touched the ground, his Lupine fell on his knees, and with a thud, planted his whole front snout-first into the dirt.
But, the Ursine, being of a league of his own, pulled himself together, refraining from even acknowledging the bleeding and the spasming of his body. Gritting his teeth and growling, he rose upright, and set his hands/paws together. Like a fighting game character with hyperarmor, he endured Noblesse's blade, making no show of the debuff that affected him.
His breath, like steam, seethed through his sharp teeth, and he drew up a fist into the air above him. A roar accompanied his next motion, all of the gathered power in his body concentrating itself within that fist: it shot downward into the earth beneath him with enough force that cracks immediately formed upon impact. From these thin lines burst a further eruption of pure energy, threatening to envelop both Noblesse and Ornery.
"[Combo Breaker]!"What remained of that energy seeped back into his body, his muscles rippling with further strength on account of his
[Tribal Spirit].
