There were a few times Hachi opened his mouth only to shut it as he quietly collected Snow ChimChims from the kitchen's makeshift icebox. He wanted to ask if everyone should exchange member addresses, was that appropriate? Well, everyone had come here spontaneously, it wasn't like they exactly wanted to be doing the quest together. He for sure was stoked! For everyone that was here! Raviel seemed to have gotten the wailing bats and was starting the Moon Brew, Advent had finished brewing the Dew Brew- both Harusame and Bellerophon were pulling their weight. Everyone understood the assignment almost immediately even if it seemed a little shaky in the start. Plus, the lot of them being so focused cause him to do better by default. Maybe he'd ask after they finished.

His ear twitched as he finished shoving the five icy creatures in his inventory, listening to all the goings on conversation wise within the kitchen. Cook was picking on Advent, but it seemed the cleric let it roll off his shoulders for the most part. He noticed the extra Flame Brew set aside, but no sign of Harusame, maybe he'd wandered off to find ingredients when Hachi wasn't looking. Bellerophon was writing as swiftly as ever- Oop! Hachi watched as he'd stopped writing and sure enough, all five letters were sprawled out there. Should he..? Before his thoughts had time to piece together something sensible, he'd found himself wandering over to glance at the letters again. Mostly, in disbelief that he'd actually written five coherent letters so fast, and yet-

Peering down at the pages and trying to skim as fast as he could, his eyebrows rose in understanding. "Dude, did you really punch a jerk for trying to steal your pen!?" He couldn't stop himself from blurting out as his fellow quest participant was setting up. Where he'd tried to be sneaky before, this time his attention was captured. They were just laying there in the open, after all. If he was a writer, maybe he appreciated others reading his work. "Seven languages! Woaholy sh-" His eyes had moved on to the final letter, causing his words to stop. "Oh! Kirin!" Hachi brought his hands up, almost to hit the surface Bellerophon was working on in excitement, but stopped himself. His fingers closed in towards his palms as he lowered them to his sides again.

"I'd love to quest together with you again, man! I get why you wrote two letters to yourself, I'm interested in you, too- Just from reading these five!" He heard the Cook's booming voice, but luckily, it wasn't directed at him this time. Looking over his shoulder at the commotion, it seemed Harusame had found the Will-o-wisps after all! Before Cook's attention was free again, Hachi turned back towards Bellerophon. "Anyway, it makes sense you chose this task. I especially enjoyed the nice things you said about your rice cooker. It's relatable, but I never would have thought it the way you wrote it. I think the way you love yourself and your tools are admirable!"

As Cook finished up his conversation with Harusame, Hachi listened to whatever Bellerophon had to say in response, if anything, before quickly heading back to his own station after a polite wave. He did not want to get kicked out for talking too much. That would be embarrassing. For now, he started adding the Snow ChimChims into the pot to make a bulk batch.
