True to form, Bellerophon sheepishly flicked his braided tail, bowing his head in 11H's direction. He had picked a kind face and one of the most disarming Beast options he possibly could - a unicorn - on purpose, the kind of species that a young girl who's really into horses would perhaps opt for. Clean and nice-looking and good with kids. Reputation was important for any future hero, so if he wanted to be publicly adored, looking a bit like a bumbling but well-intentioned player was better than looking overly competent and confident in himself.

That was his plan until Harusame gated in. Bellerophon immediately sagged in place, giving the green-haired menace a look that was difficult to describe accurately. It was the kind of look that one'd give to a supermarket receipt that turned out to have one more digit in the total than one had intended it to.

Well, I suppose at least it is the devil you know. At the very least, he knows his control scheme and won't walk off a ledge like an idiot, I presume.

"... And there's our third!" Bellerophon chirped, faking excitement like he's just gotten socks for Christmas. "I am quite happy to have a healer here - unfortunately, in this game, ah... in this version of the game, sorry, Wavemasters don't have healing skils, so I'm all offensive, I'm afraid."

Without dawdling further, he'd sent out his Member Address to the one that still didn't have it - that is, 11H - and, should he accept, he'd follow it up with party invitations, as well.

And then, he'd march over to the nearest tall patch of... moss? Lichen? It certainly hadn't exactly been grass, but whatever it was, giving it a solid rustle with the butt of his staff sent Chim-Chims running out in droves.

With a powerful sweeping kick, Bellerophon took out a solid tenner. With another, a dozen. For a Wavemaster, he was certainly adept at kicking the stuffing out of small, defenseless creatures...

Still, quite a few more were running around the cavern.

"My, but the quest wasn't kidding - there is an infestation! Dear me, they ought to invent a Chim-Chim spray," Bellerophon spoke, shaking a winded Chim-Chim off his hoof.

If nothing else, those massive unicorn legs gave him an advantage.

... Wait, was he even wearing trousers, or was that a loincloth...?

"It isn't, to be clear, but you would still ideally need to know someone's address to be able to mail them, even second-hand," Bellerophon corrected himself with an air of nonchalance. "That said, you do still need someone's Member Address to invite them to a party, send them Flash Mail - that's like in-game private messaging, for those of you too young to understand - and it is far more convenient to have it than to receive someone's second-hand mailing address and wonder if you're messaging the right person. Of course, there's also normal e-mail addresses, not tied to [The World], but we're not talking about them right now."

While conversing at - not necessarily with - those present, Bellerophon stomped his big ol' unicorn hooves into a nearby lichen-bush, sending those Chim-Chims lucky enough not to be immediately squished running in a panic.

"So what you're saying is that you have unresolved anger issues unrelated to your home life, Spring Rain!" Bellerophon brightly smiled. "I hope that acting like an arsehole in-game is helping you in some way that therapy hasn't, then. I'm deeply sorry that you have to deal with this issue. Pray tell, how many broken keyboards do you go through in a month? It's the first time I'm talking to someone with issues like these, so you're uniquely equipped to answer this question!"

He stomped through another bush, progressing out into an open-air chasm area, moonlight streaming down. Despite the illusion of openness, it was still very much walled-in: the cliff walls only allowed one way forward.

I've never liked corridor-style maps, but I suppose this will have to do.

"... Ah, let him think he's freeloading, Harusame. He hasn't even accepted the Address exchange yet, so it's not like he's getting any quest progress from this. I can't invite him."
